Why do I need an electrical check?
Homeowners, or those who own a property that is rented, should ensure the electrical instalations within the property are legally compliant with the Building regulations.
Applicable to building work in England and Wales, the Building Regulations set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the health and safety of people in or around the buildings in question. In Scotland, equivalent regulations apply through the Building (Scotland) Act 2003.
